I'm getting really really frustrated...I've never been great with linux but I always knew enough to survive...I never had a problem getting things up and running...now...I'm having a problem....I can't for the life of me get the DHCP to work on my linux box since i reformatted it....and i'm getting really ticked off ....the DHclient util says that its bound to an IP in the proper scheme for my local home network...but i can't ping the IP from any box on my network...and I cant even ping localhost or 127.0.0.1 from the linux box its self....I've done all sorts of editing to the /etc/hosts file....but I cant get it to work...its getting really annoying...oh well...if anyone has any suggestions...please let me know...
