I finally got the linux box all configured for dhcp...turns out I had to set the hostname in like 10 different places in different conf files all over the system....but it works!...I also got ambitous got php, mysql, proftpd, apache, and even SSL installed and running...its pretty sweet...so now I start work on project hades....which I'd love to tell you all about but then I'd have to kill you...it's an idea that my roomate Zach and I have had seperatly for a long time and we met and kind of comobined the two...it basically involves rewriting the definition of an Operating System...also involves deveing into the linux kernel and mozilla source code pretty heavily...I can't wait...at the moment i'm just designing the database layout....and getting the base for the user interface up....but i'm pretty excited about where this is going....wish us some luck.
.....as far as personal stuff goes I get to see christina again tonight...i'm supposed to cook dinner...this should be intresting...but i guess we'll see...I used to work as a chef back in the day...and apparently shes a pretty good cook...all the more reason to keep her around hehe....maybe she can teach me a thing or two..or ten....you get the idea...at any rate...back to coding...
