I got this message from a bddy today:
BuddiesSN: DONT accept IMs from daronboy187 or misx_bitch because they are viruses. Tell everyone online because if some one on your list accepts it then you get it
.....more than likely this is fake...i did a little research...first of all underscores "_" are not allowed in AIM screennames....and ive seen several references to the same hoax floating around on yahoo messenger....getting a virus just by accepting a message really isnt all the possible...especially if your running the newest version of AIM.....also i checked these buddies...and they're not even online...so this tells me that if they are infact a virus spreading bot they are not registered with aim (more specifically the oscar server)...this would invlove spoofing some TCPIP packets to fool what screen name a message is coming from and with newer versions of AIM I dont think this is possible because of the way the AIM authentication works....at least thats what i think...google didnt give me to much...which tells me even more so this is probably just another hoax.
