The trip to montreal was a lot of fun...got detained at the border for about an hour which to put it simply sucked...it used to be you only needed a valid drivers license to enter canada...apparently that week they decided to change their policy so that you either need a passport or a birth certificate...so they had to run background checks on everyone and all that junk....but we made it and it was a really great time...and once again christina amazes me...that girl can really dance...and i put in my best effort to...she says that im pretty good...however i think shes being nice...well at any rate it was a really fun time....in other news i have a friend who basically wrote out her life story in a word doc over the last few months...just experience thoughts and feelings...she says that she tried to keep it from a more analytical perspective but you can tell that feelings were thrown in there as well...as is expected when reffering to your personal life...she had some intresting thoughts about her experinces...and she really does intrigue me....her thoughts on sex and realtionships are certinaly intresting and i enjoyed reading and kind of watching her grow up and learn...i still think some of her thoughts are a little naive...and i can tell that she hasnt been completly upfront with me about some things...especially her view on relationships....im hoping that this insight will lead help me guide her a little better ....as she said in her doc that ive been helping her a lot lately...i hope i can continue to be that great friend...as i believe i am her friend before i'm her boyfriend...or at least thats the way things developed to start...so why shouldnt they stay that way?...it is a perplexing problem balancing that friendship in a dating situation...especially if the dating stops...but i have a feeling that if im her friend before im a boyfriend...then if the dating ever stops the friendship will be more important then the fact that we're not dating any more...of course i know from experience this isnt always the case...but i can always hope.
